Custom Motivation

Different people require and respond to different forms of motivation. Some people respond well to yelling and beratement (think boot camp for the military). Others respond well to persistent friendly reminders from their friends.

Wherever you fall on the spectrum, Gyst is there to provide you with customized crowdsourced motivation.

Through Gyst, you are paired with a Personal Motivator (PM), who shares similar goals or interests as you and is capable of providing you the type of motivation you need to find success. Your PM checks in with you regularly to ensure you are on the right path and that you accomplish your goal.

Over time, your PM becomes a part of your tribe, which you can learn more about two sections over.

SMART Goals

The wise sage turned supermodel Tucker Payne once said “Time is the greatest enemy of progress.” People typically set lofty goals for themselves like losing 30 pounds, quitting smoking cold turkey, or learning a new language.

The issue with this is that most people believe they can accomplish anything, start down that path, find out it’s difficult, and quit.

At Gyst, we encourage you to have an overarching goal like the ones you see above and aim to help you reach it. We accomplish this by breaking down your goal into smaller attainable goals using the SMART methodology.

SMART Goals are: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-Bound.

Community

Outside of your PM, you can connect with other people within the Gyst Community that are working on bettering themselves in the same area as you. Like our SMART Goals, the Gyst Community is broken down into smaller, more intimate communities called Tribes.

Gyst has pre-set tribes based on objective areas (mind, body, spirit, etc.). As you set new goals, you’ll gain access to more tribes, which in turn offers you more support from other like-minded rockstars who are trying to make their lives better.
